Nigel began his golfing journey at the age of 16. He quickly fell in love with the sport and spent hours practicing. At the age of 19 Nigel turned professional, with a focus on teaching others and passing on the same enjoyment he experiences playing golf.

 

Nigel graduated from the University of Birmingham in the UK in 2008 with a degree in Professional Golf Studies. By the time of graduating he was appointed the Head Professional of his hometown club and was teaching players of all abilities (including a number of juniors/young adults that chose to pursue a career in golf as well). Nigel was also playing in professional tournaments in the UK, and won a number of local tournaments.

 

Nigel continued his learning and enrolled at Nottingham Trent University in 2008 to read for a degree in Psychology and Sports Science. In 2011 he graduated second in his class with a joint honours degree that covers two important areas that influence every golfer.

 

Nigel continued teaching on a full-time basis, relocating to Singapore in 2015 to begin working in a new environment and with other like-minded professionals. He continues to help his students achieve their goals and improve their enjoyment of the sport. Nigel prides himself on getting to know his students and working with each one to meet their specific needs, whether a beginner learning golf for the first time, or a dedicated golfer who has been playing golf all their life. Coaching is his passion, and he has a real enthusiasm for seeing his students improve.
